A Richer Coffee Taste Starts with Quality Water
Great coffee starts with great water. The original Siemens Brita Intenza water filter improves water quality for a richer-tasting coffee and protects your espresso machine from limescale build-up, helping to extend its lifespan. Here’s how effective filtration with Brita Intenza works: 1) Reduces Limescale: An ion exchanger softens the water to prevent limescale, which protects your machine. 2) Improves Taste: Activated carbon reduces chlorine, which can affect the flavour of your coffee. 3) Purifies Water: A post-filter sieve retains filter material to protect your espresso machine. For a superior coffee aroma, your water should have a hardness of 3–8°dH. The Brita Intenza filter can last for up to two months, depending on your local water hardness and how much coffee you drink.
Certified for Quality and Safety
The Brita Intenza is certified by leading test institutes, ensuring high standards for quality, safety and hygiene.
The Brita water filter is TÜV- and ICIM-certified, which meets high standards for quality, safety and hygiene. It has been tested for material safety and filtration performance, providing reliably clean drinking water every day.

Accurate Filtration with the Aroma Ring
The Brita Intenza features a unique Aroma Ring that lets you adjust the filtration level to your local water hardness.
To do this, simply use the included water hardness strip to find your home’s water hardness. Then turn the Aroma Ring to select the matching level: A, B or C. Adjusting the ring each time you replace the filter ensures consistent water quality.
The original Brita Intenza water filter is made to fit Siemens fully automatic espresso machines.
Optimal Water Quality in Just a Few Steps
Easily adjust the Aroma Ring on the filter to match your local tap water’s hardness. Adjusting the ring each time you replace the filter helps ensure consistent water quality. Installation is quick and simple. If your machine has a display, it will let you know when it’s time to change the filter.
Improved Look and Taste of Your Coffee
Filtered water not only helps develop your coffee’s flavour and aroma, it also improves the crema. A rich, velvety crema is key to a great coffee and is easier to achieve with soft, low-limescale water.
100% Compatible
Designed specifically for Siemens fully automatic espresso machines, the Brita Intenza water filter is compatible with all models, from EQ300 to EQ900 Plus. It slots directly into the water tank for quick and easy installation.
Put Your Trust in “Made in Germany”
Brita Intenza water filters are manufactured in Germany, reflecting a long tradition of quality craftsmanship and high production standards. The filter is recommended by Siemens Home Appliances for its compatibility with their espresso machines and a shared commitment to precision and innovation.
