Composty kitchen sponges have been carefully designed by us – a UK family business. We have created them to be jam-packed with eco-friendly features and also offer superior cleaning performance. They are that good that we have found that anyone who tries them, wants to stick with them! They are not just a whizz as a dish sponge. Our sponges are multi-use & come in a selection of 4 colours. Use your favourite colours first, or organise your sponges in the style of Mrs Hinch. How about ‘pink for the sink’, ‘blue for the loo’, ‘green to clean’ (surfaces) and ‘yellow for that so-and-so’? Composty sponges are made of natural cellulose sponge (wood pulp) – but they feel different from others on the market. They are designed to be soft to the touch, yet tough and long-lasting. They have a strong textured ‘feel’ which helps to provide superior cleaning performance. Before use they teeny-tiny! A pack of traditional sponges take up a lot of room in your store cupboards, but this isn’t the case with Composty sponges. Not only does the reduced size make your cupboards feel a bit roomier, but it also reduces the product’s carbon footprint through delivery and packaging. Pop-Up! To expand sponges to their normal size, simply soak in water for a few seconds. They are around 11.5cm x 14cm x 1.8cm when expanded – but 90% smaller before. You can easily cut them to different sizes. 100% cellulose sponge has many benefits. You can compost them after use – along with all the packaging too! They are made of natural materials and are vegan too. Plastic-free means that no microplastics enter the waterways via your drain every time you use our sponges. They are made ethically by workers who are looked after by their employers. Clean-up with a clean conscious. Buy now!

🧽 TOUGH & NON-SCRATCH MULTI-USE SPONGES: Our sponges are specially created from natural cellulose. They are designed to be non-scratch and have a tough and textured ‘feel’. This enables enhanced cleaning when compared to traditional kitchen sponges. Many of our customers report that our sponges work better than traditional sponges. We are a UK Family Business
😇 PLASTIC-FREE & FULLY COMPOSTABLE: We are a family business based in the UK, with a strong ‘eco-conscience’. Therefore we were keen to create not only a fully compostable sponge – but its packaging is too! You can pop the sponges in the washing machine or dishwasher to freshen them up – but when you are finished with them, just throw them in your compost bin to give back to the environment!
🌍 SUSTAINABLE & SPACE-SAVING MAGIC SPONGES: Our biodegradable sponges arrive compressed to up to 90% their original size – this saves space in your store cupboards and reduces carbon emissions in delivery. Simply add the sponge to water to watch the magic happen!
💚 THE ORIGINAL ECO POP-UP SPONGE: We were the first 100% sustainable pop-up sponge and although many have copied, we are still number 1. We are certain that you will love our products. We also promise that the products’ eco-credentials are as great as we say they are. There’s no greenwashing here! We will happily refund you if you are not completely in love with your purchase or you find that our eco-credentials are false (which you won’t!).
🌱 COMPOSTY CARES: We are 1% for the Planet members. Committed to giving back 1% of all we earn to save the planet for all of our children and future generations.
