NightCap can deter drink spiking in many instances, but cannot ensure your safety. Always buy your own drink and never leave it unattended. Drink spiking statistics sourced from alcohol.org.

How we get our start?

NightCap was invented by 16yr old Shirah Benarde in 2019 with a pair of pantyhose from her mom’s closet that she cut to size and attached them to a scrunchie to create the first prototype.

What makes our products unique?

Nightcap is reusable, ultra-convenient, and stylish hair scrunchie that can be taken off to be used as a drink cover to keep pills and powders from entering your drink.

Why we love what we do?

We know that for every Nightcap we ship out, we are helping to keep someone safe by empowering them with a tool to protect themselves.

FUNCTIONAL DESIGN – The NightCap Scrunchie works as both a stylish hair tie and a protective drink cover, helping prevent pills, powders, bugs, and debris from getting into your drink while you’re out.
QUICK & EASY TO USE – Wear it on your wrist or in your hair. When needed, pull the hidden drink cover from the scrunchie pocket, stretch it over your cup, pop in a straw, and enjoy your drink with added protection.
FITS MOST CUPS & GLASSES – Made from stretchable nylon/spandex, the drink cover expands to fit most standard cups and glasses, creating a protective barrier without interfering with your ability to sip your drink.
REUSABLE & WASHABLE – This durable drink protector is designed for repeated use. Simply toss it in the washing machine after use and lay it flat to air dry, ensuring long-lasting protection whenever needed.
STAY AWARE & RESPONSIBLE – The NightCap drink cover scrunchie helps deter drink spiking but does not guarantee safety. Always watch your drink, buy your own beverages and stay aware of your surroundings while out.
