Value for money
The four bands, the door anchor, and instruction sheet, all arrived neatly presented in a box. The bands are made from some serious rubber/latex, and the purple one, quite surprised me with its powerful resistance. We have a set of the thin, wider, more stretchy type bands, but wanted this set to complement those, and provide additional exercise options. All items appear to be well made, and hopefully, will last for some time. I always have some reservations about using a door anchor, mainly due to the uncommon strain placed upon the door, and in case someone opens said door, whilst you are using it. The safe option would be to use the anchor, on the non-opening side of the door. Unfortunately, that would place us in the hall, or on the landings. The four bands should provide sufficient workout capability, of this type for most people. And as mentioned previously, that purple one will take some mastering. However, if experienced, and more resistance is needed, then some doubling of the bands might suffice. The workout sheet, could have been larger, easier to read, as it is rather small, and perhaps a simple drawstring bag could have been provided, but then, the set is inexpensive. I think we will add a bag to the set, a foot stirrup, and some comfortable handles, to improve use of the bands. The information, and exercise recommendations provided are quite good, and more than adequate to start with. We like the set, would recommend the set, and consider the set, as value for money. However, I would add that the metal fittings on the door anchor, are a bit basic (thin, and potentially weak).
